PennHealthX is a student-led organization within the Perelman School of Medicine with the intention of supporting students with interests in healthcare management, entrepreneurship, and technology.
Founded in 2013, we are an endowed program that provides medical students with opportunities to explore, experience, and contribute to innovation in health care.

What We Do
We support the PSOM and broader medical student community in a variety of ways, including
- Our annual industry-leading global conference
- Our flagship Social Determinants of Health Accelerator
- Our Ventures arm, which provides non-dilutive seed funding to startups with PSOM team members
- Our Healthcare Management, Entrepreneurship, and Technology (H-MET) certificate for PSOM degree candidates
- Our internship program, which provides funding for students pursuing unpaid/underpaid opportunities in the H-MET field
